Description

Leads team and cross-functional peers in enterprise-wide independent risk assessments to determine risk and inefficiencies comprising business architecture to present recommendations and risk mitigation tactics to reduce or eliminate the risk or inefficiency.

  • Manages all risk assessment activities, including data collection, analysis, report compilation and publication. Maintains responsibility for all risk assessment forums including P4, Macro Risk Assessment, Micro Risk Assessment, and Risk Rewinds, to analyze, identify, describe, and estimate key business threats.
  • Manages logistical preparations and arrangements through the Risk Assessment team to carry out review initiatives by ensuring all materials and parties are present and prepared. Develops detailed review plans and recruits and establishes review teams consisting of cross-departmental personnel to participate in the process review. Facilitates pre-review meetings to clearly outline expectations and orient guest reviewers with the appropriate review model.
  • Manages the collection of relevant, preliminary data for process reviews. Evaluates financial and process information provided by team to ensure the process should continue.
  • Leads a team of risk assessment professionals by providing continual coaching and feedback to identify, analyze, and prevent enterprise-wide risk. Recruits, selects, hires, and evaluates performance of employees to ensure all department needs are handled appropriately. Counsels and develops staff for personal and corporate advancement through career development, training programs, and other resources as required for professional advancement.

Presents recommendations and risk mitigation tactics to reduce or eliminate the risk or inefficiency.
  • Leads Risk Assessment strategic planning to create vision and goals for mitigating enterprise-wide risk.
  • Manages the preparation of quarterly reporting and facilitates review meetings with Senior Management to ensure recommendations are implemented effectively within the set parameters.
  • Maintains review infrastructure to support the review model by keeping all processes current.
  • Develops Governance Risk and Compliance framework, applying an automated strategic approach, to monitor risk and opportunity across the enterprise.
  • Coordinates the consolidation of the review team's research and streamlines the arrangement of key data within final reports to ensure accuracy of all published content. Follows up and partners with various business areas on the status of proposed recommendations.
  • Represents Risk Management in risk assessment presentations and trainings.
  • Prepares the capital and operating budgets for the cost center and analyzes interdepartmental reports as they relate to the cost center. Achieves cost center projections through labor expense and administrative expense controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 2 years of experience in Leadership experience.
  • 7 years of experience in Related field.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • ERM experience preferred.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
