Description

Responsible for departmental objectives, supervising processes and resolution of escalated issues, including annual enrollment and monthly eligibility process for all clients and worksite employees.

  • Supervises group of direct reports; completes performance reviews, monthly one-on-ones, team meetings, new employee training, team-building activities, guidance, and disciplinary action.
  • Supervises group responsible for carrier discrepancies, COBRA compliance, Section 125 compliance, HAS administration, H&B online resolution, and internal payroll.
  • Supervises and oversees annual enrollment process with other departmental supervisors and department manager including monitoring, reporting, updates, and related reports for rate, new plan setup, and expense tracking.
  • Maintains high level of job, industry, and benefit plan knowledge.
  • Participates in joint decision-making with other departmental supervisors on issues affecting direct reports, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensures that customer service standards are communicated to benefits specialists, including training, auditing, and monitoring of procedures.
  • Oversees monthly eligibility process, including developing and distributing new plan packets.
  • Analyzes and implements process improvements.
  • Fields escalated client calls; researches and resolves client issues to meet client expectations.
  • Participates in departmental and branch-wide projects.
  • Reviews and approves financial reconciliations (adjustments and monthly audits).
  • Communicates with carriers to answer questions from clients, client-employees, benefits specialists, Human Resource Generalists, sales representatives, and managers.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree.
  • 1 year of experience in Leadership role.
  • 1 year of experience in Paychex experience.
